Doodle or Die game: [link]

This is probably one of my favorite games. It starts of with a drawing or a description, then someone draw the description or describe the drawing. Yeah, that sounds about right. Pretty fun and addicting. Especially when you come across other great artists. Theres a lot of chain breakers, haters and trolls too. Just report them, and over time, they go away. I still have a lot of fun drawing though, so its not a big deal to me. I often get things I wouldn't normally draw, so its great for drawing exercise and a creative challenge.

Here is my profile and doodles: [link]

If only I could spend as much time drawing something in Photoshop. Instead of a 520x390 picture with horrible tools. Oh well.

Think you could recreate your picture(s) of Mario, peach and luigi in the dark from Dod?

I found your drawings on DoodleOrDie the other day, and may I just say, your shading is profoundly detailed (especially since I can't shade to save my life.) I love your work on thee

...there (My enter key is plotting against me -_-). Anyway... Are you a professional? How much work goes into those little doodles? I'm curious to know! ^.^

Haha. The enter can be brutal sometimes. But no, I'm not a professional. I've just been drawing for as long as I can remember, developing slowly over time. Doodle or Die has actually helped improving in some areas, so just keep going. :D The time of my doodles varies a lot from time to time. But I think approximately about an hour or so. Unless I re-draw a lot of things about half way through. As for the shading, I just try to visualize where the light is coming from and where theres going to be shadows. But I often bend the rules and just throw something in here and there, so my shading isn't actually all that great. :P But thanks for the compliment. :D

Thanks, despite the creepy face at the end of the comment. :D I should probably try to post something here soon. If only I could complete some of the half finished stuff I have lying on my hard drive. I usually start working on something, then eventually end up with Doodle or Die. Only time will tell. :P

You could just post the stuff you have on Doodle or Die to dA, with a watermark on it or something....I have no idea.
I know what you mean though. I got 3 WIPs just sitting because I'm too lazy to work on them. Doodle or Die is just too fun.

Hey, I too stumbled over your stuff on DoD, absolutely amazing stuff!

As someone who just started drawing I have to ask your something: How do you get your pictures so "clean" and even? When I first saw your drawing of the armored Santa Clause I couldn't believe this was a drawing made with the DoD tools (even taking the larger color palette into account). Is it just your experience (well and likely a fine graphic tablet ^^) or do you have some kind of working routine to get you there or make your drawing easier? Well, I think I could learn a whole lot of things just by studying some of your works... ;)

Sorry for the late reply. Before the update I used a built in zoom in the Opera browser to get a bigger canvas for more precision. But since the update made the canvas bigger anyway, theres no need for that anymore. With that said, it looks like you've got a damn good start. I actually saw the "The Frontman" earlier and thought to my self "Damn, that hair!". Pretty amazing work you've got going. Also, loved the Max Payne doodle. Brought back some memories. :P Looking forward to see more of your doodles. ;)
